The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine is a museum in the open. The architecture of 6 main ethnographical regions such as the Middle Dnepr region, Polisya, Podolia, Slobodian area, the Carpathians and Southern area is on display. 300 buildings (16th -19th centuries) were brought here from all parts of Ukraine and were carefully reassembled. The huts, barns, windmills, cattle sheds, cottages and churches are set on nearly 400 acres (150 hectares) of beautiful landscape. There is a lot of household objects in every hut. Folk groups from all over Ukraine perform here on National Holidays. Ethnographic fairs are organized on a regular basis. There are three Ukrainian cuisine restaurants in area of the museum.
